Today we heard that Lenka (freshman at Princeton) has non Hodgkins lymphoma. She has a huge tumor in her chest. She would be what you would think is a healthy and happy young thing. Now she and her parents are going on a journey they didn't plan. The prognosis is good for a full recovery but I'm sure this wasn't what any of them wanted to be doing right now.
On the home front Jeemes and Juules have a flu bug and chicken soup and sprite are flowing.
Brad's mom is in the hospital with symptoms that the doctors seem to be stumped by...
Today I'm CALLING ALL ANGELS by Jane Siberry with KD Lang. We have loved this song when we first heard it on the Until the End of the World film by Wim Wenders. We bought the soundtrack years ago and it continues to comfort us frequently. None of us really knows how this thing goes...all we can do it hold each other close.
